I have had a passion for the sound of the pipes, ever since I was a youngster!.some of my relations used to play in pipe bands, and I was in awe of the sound, and the piper's ability....It was not long before I had my own practice chanter, and I vividly remember my first few lessons, and the time I blew up a set!! It alll seems so long ago now, but the passion has never waned......Years of playing in bands, and doing "solo" engagements,culminating over recent years, in trips to Scotland to visit manufacturers, and share stories with other pipers!!I am now the sole, (pardon the pun!!) distributor of Ian D Murray bagpipes in Australia, a position I have sought because I believe so strongly, that the range Ian offers, the quality workmanship, and the tone of his pipes, are the best I have ever seen or heard!! I own a set of silver mounted Lawries,(which belonged my grandfather), and which are still played regularly, and I can tell you now, if you heard the Lawries played in a separate room, and then the Murrays, you would not pick the difference!!..That is some recommendation.........................!!

Notifying Visitors of Site Enhancements
Another idea for my home page's text is notifying visitors about the enhancements I put on my site. For example, I want visitors to sign my guestbook or fill out my survey Form E-mailer to answer questions about my site, my business, or my site's topic.

Getting Rich Quick From My Site!
I might not want a large amount of text on my home page if I want to guide visitors toward my other pages. Instead of text, I can add others' buttons to this first page, and I'll be rewarded for people who click on the buttons. For example, if a visitor signs up for a Visa using the NextCard button on my site, I earn at least ! |
